My Nautical Adventure

So for the last three days (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) I went on a brief vacation to Newport Oregon with my four sisters, their children and my parents. We rented two condos (thank you VI!) and settled in quiet nicely. Although there was a mishap; the lady at the registration office said the two suites would be next to each other, they were more like, a walk down a flight of stairs, up another set, across a bridge all the way to 226. Aside from that, we were very happy.
Our first day there, or the day (actually night) we arrived, we got the rooms. Later on, I went with Mother and Dad to get some pizza. We searched through the town, high and low, but in vain, we found no pizza place. We were desperate and  even began stalking an Abby's Pizza delivery car. Then.......the miracle happened. We almost drove right past it. Mother freaked out. It was a Papa Murphy's. The only place my Mother would go to get a pizza. (screw Dominoes!) We went in and got our order.
After a delicious meal, the children retired to the front row (ok the only row) view of the TV as they digested and watched Barnyard. In my opinion, the stupidest movie ever. After bidding everyone sweet dreams, I retired to the berth to catch forty winks.

Chubster's view of the TV
I woke up to a raging gale and pouring rain on day two.

Dad, Mother, Deb, Ladybug, G.I Dyl and I had to make the miserable trek to to other condo. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by a waitress from the Perela Diner. Breakfast was delicious!
Perela Diner: French Toast, Turkey Bacon, Sausage Links, and Fruit.
After feasting on these blessings, the children watched Dora, Bubble Guppies, and so forth, along with scores of toy commercials.
Ladybug and Pixie watching Nickelodeon.

Let the naps commence......

After a nap and other such.......it was time for lunch. We got a box of cupcakes to celebrate my oldest sister's birthday. (even though we were two days late.)
Happy Birthday Debsters!
Continuing on, we left the crows nest and set forth for a little excursion away from the home port.
A look around a Celtic Import shop....
and a visit to an aquarium.
with octopuses.
The crew returned to home port for an ambrosial pre-thanksgiving meal.
 Pixie was tired
So was the for-eyed-musician. (your's truly)
We each wished each other bon nuit and slept beautifully.
I woke up to the still raging tempest with harsh gales and pouring rain on the last day. I'm surprised the trees outside stayed rooted.
Once again, a scrumptious breakfast at the Perela Diner. Pancakes, and turkey sausage. As for me, I had a mocha.
Before departing Embarcadero, I convinced everyone that I had to go down to the harbor to get some pictures of the boats. They have some captivating names. For example:
The Pelican

The Last Straw

Kylie Lynn, Perseverance

Chelsea Rose

Two-eyed musician with a crab sign.

Dyl: IMMA PELICAN!!

Loitering Seals.
We saw other such sights like:
A gift of Crab Crap

A cut frog I wanted to kiss.

This Reminds me of the whales on Fantasia.

With sails raised and cargo loaded, we set forth for home.

Thanks for reading expect more soon.
